Betty M. Sigler

Betty M. Sigler, 97, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on November 8, 2024, in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. She was born September 25, 1927, in Lewistown, PA, to the late Luther Howard and Laura Agnes (Klinger) Deamer and was the widow of Jay H. Sigler, who passed away on December 3, 2002.

Betty and Jay were members of a local motorcycle club and loved riding together. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football fan. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, eating out, shopping with her daughter, spending time with family, and caring for the family dogs, Nelly and Dandy.

Surviving is her loving daughter, Cheryl A. Lebo (Jeff) of Mt. Holly Springs; two grandchildren, Stephanie J. Topper (Charles) of Mt. Holly Springs and Nathaniel J. Lebo (Tiffany) of Gardners; four great grandchildren, Ivan, Sophie, Indiana, and Judah; nieces, Polly Bayerl and Helen-Ann Ammon; and nephews, Monte Deamer and George Sigler. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond K. Deamer, Harold “Jack” Deamer, and D. Arlene Shehan, along with niece, Susan Goss, and nephews Brent and Eric Deamer.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 HWY 522 South, Lewistown, PA 17044, with Pastor Mike Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO BOX 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
