Betty Weary

Betty J. Weary, 87, of Carlisle, PA and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1929 in South Middleton Twp., PA to the late David C. and Elsie Keck Worst and was the widow of Merrill L. Weary Sr. who passed away December 18, 2000.

Betty retired from the former McCoy Electronics in Mt. Holly Springs and was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist church for over 50 years.

She is survived by two sons, Merrill L. (Shari) Weary Jr. of New Oxford and Donald L. Weary of East Berlin; two daughters, Carolyn L. (Braynard) Neal of Shermansdale and Patricia W. (Lloyd) Penner of Mt. Holly Springs; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her siblings, Helen Coyle and Robert Worst and a great grandson, Brandon.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM in her church at 202 W. Butler Street, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Edward Alwine officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Betty's memory may be made to her church.
