Bessie Ronan

Bessie H. Ronan, 86, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Born May 25, 1933 to the late Steward and Edna L. (Weary) Myers, she was the widow of Joseph T. Ronan who passed away on February 11, 2018. Bessie retired from Oak Industries in 1996 and was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God. She loved to do embroidery and work in her flower garden.

Bessie is survived by her children, Jeffrey L. Walters and Claudine M. (Andre) Bond, both of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, Peggy S. (Kevin) Cloud of Lakeland, FL, Peggy (Rick) Bowman of Shippensburg, PA, Sheryl (Gary) Christian of Martinsburg, WV and Joseph (Kathy) Ronan Jr. of Everett, PA. Also surviving are her siblings, Catherine Wolf of Gardners, PA and Edith Thompson of Newville, PA; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children, Gregory Walters, Robert Ronan, Steven Ronan and Kristien Lechine.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Dan Murray and Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to PA Breast Cancer Coalition, 2397 Quentin Rd., Suite B, Lebanon, PA 17042 or Cumberland County Veterans Affairs, 18 N.
