Benjamin Edwards

Benjamin James Edwards, 29, of Carlisle, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, May 20, 2017. He was born February 1, 1988 in Carlisle, PA to Danny Edwards of Carlisle and Kathy Edwards of New Oxford.

Ben was the  events coordinator  for Park Inn in Mechanicsburg. He was a hard worker and known for his outstanding work ethics and always took pride in everything he accomplished. Ben loved camping and sitting around the campfire, listing to music and working out. He loved his family and friends and found great enjoyment in helping others. Ben had a heart of gold and was very much loved. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents Ben is survived by his brother, Kevin Edwards of New Oxford; two nephews, Aiden Edwards and Dane Landis; his grandfather, Dan Edwards of Littlestown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joy Edwards, Carroll and Ethel Shorb; an Aunt Linda Miller.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065  with the Rev. Brian Doyle officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be a viewing Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
