Barbara Scott

Barbara A. Scott, 75, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away June 8, 2018 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle. She was born April 28, 1943 in Mechanicsburg to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Diller) Seifert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Scott who passed away April 13, 2017.

Barbara was a school bus driver for the Mechanicsburg School District and an office assistant for Shedlosky&Panas. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy A. Lechthaler of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Emily A. and Evan S. Lechthaler, both of Mechanicsburg; and brother, Kenneth Seifert of Mechanicsburg. Barbara is preceded in death by her brothers, Craig and Steve Seifert and son in law Brian W. Lechthaler

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
