Barbara Miller

Barbara A. Miller, 74, formerly of Newville, PA, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at the ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg, PA. Barbara was born April 5, 1943 in Carlisle, PA to the late Jasper and Ethel Griffey Thomas. She was married 57 years to her loving husband, John B. Miller.

Barbara had a love for horses, enjoying riding and working with them.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Linda M. Griffie and husband, Dennis of Mt. Holly Springs; sons, Randy L. Miller and wife, Barbara of Carlisle, Robert J. Miller and companion, Jennifer of Shermansdale and Roger A. Miller and wife, Trisha of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Rachel, Mason, Kimberly, Leejay and Hunter; and a brother, Joseph Thomas. Barbara was preceded in death by an infant son.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery with Rev. Fred Chapin officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
