Barbara McClintock

Barbara Ann McClintock, 60, of Newville passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born November 9, 1954 in Carlisle to the late John S. and Audrey I. Garland McClintock.

Barbara was a nurse’s aide, always putting others before herself. She was very independent and was well loved by all. Barbara was a three time cancer survivor.

She is survived by a brother, Joel S. (Jennifer) McClintock of Newville; a sister, Dorothy (Ray) Reed of Carlisle; a niece, Nicole Simon; a nephew, Derrick McClintock;and a great nephew, Liam Simon.

Services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the Carlisle United Methodist Church Chapel, 45 S. West Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 with the Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
