Barbara Bready

Barbara A. Bready, 79, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 31, 1940 in Rowlesburg, WV to the late French and Barbara J. House Gibson. The retired owner and operator of her beauty shop in Silver Spring, MD, Barbara was a  member of the Georgia Avenue Baptist Church in Glenmont, MD. An avid bowler, she especially loved her flowers and feeding the birds.

Surviving is her loving husband,  John C. Bready;  daughter, Terri J. (James R.) Elliott of Newburg; and two sons, Timothy A. (Terri L.) Bready of Hughesville, MD and Brian J. Bready and companion Cindy Browning of Boiling Springs. Also surviving is her uncle, Fred House (Donna Deatrick) of Mt. Holly Springs, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings,  Carol E. Cole and  John Gibson.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Newville First Church of God, 475 Shippensburg Rd., Newville, PA 17241 with Rev. Wayne Good and Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
