Arlene Gitt

Arlene W. Gitt 87, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away at Forest Park Health Center,    Carlisle PA, Friday February 12, 2016.  She was born in Harrisburg, PA, November 22, 1928 to the late Philip A. and Edith A. Sierer Warner and was the widow of Irwin C. Gitt.

Arlene was a member of the former Mt. Holly Springs Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and her pet cats. Arlene loved her family dearly and enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her three children, Patricia Auckerman and her husband Foster of Boiling Springs, Michael Gitt of Mechanicsburg and Peggy Gitt of Mt. Holly Springs; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one brother, Donald P. Warner and his wife Betty of Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday February 18, 2016 in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
