Angela Marie Snyder

Angela Marie Snyder, 48, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 17th at her residence. She was born December 30, 1975, in Carlisle to Linda Karen (Plank) Bartholic (husband, Hal) and the late Mark Clair Snyder.

Angela was a Boiling Springs High School graduate class of 1994, Shippensburg University graduate class of 1999, and Towson University graduate, where she obtained her masters degree. She went on to be an Elementary Substitute teacher in the Upper Adams, Boiling Springs, and Cumberland Valley regions.

Angela was a dedicated volunteer at the Kings Gap and Pine Grove Furnace State Parks and to the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. She was an avid reader and was well known at the Amelia Givin Free Library and Bosler Library. But most of all, Angela loved her niece and nephews - they meant the world to her.

In addition to her mother, Angela is survived by her siblings, Amy McCloskey (Mike) of Sewickley, PA, and Kathleen Acrey (Reed) of Alpharetta, GA; niece, Caitlyn McCloskey; and nephews, TJ McCloskey, Parker and Grant Acrey; and her furry companion, Suzy.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Idaville United Brethren Church, 3590 Carlisle Road, Gardners, PA 17324 with Pastor Marc Webb officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, at 11am, and private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amelia Givin Free Library, 114 N Baltimore Ave, Mt Holly Springs, PA 17065, or Appalachian Trail Conservancy, 799 Washington Street, PO Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-9988.
