Andrew Engle

Andrew Joseph “Joe” Engle, 39, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 as the result of an accident while returning from vacation in South Dakota. Formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, Joe is the son of Douglas and Sandra Snyder Engle of Mt. Holly Springs and was born July 25, 1975 in Watford, England. Also surviving are two brothers, Michael of Alexandria, VA and William of Honolulu, HI.

A graduate of Boiling Springs HS class of 1994, Joe then earned his BA in Art from Shippensburg University and a Master’s of Art in Education from Mansfield University. He was a department manager at Lowe’s and a substitute teacher at Newport and Big Springs High Schools.  Joe loved living in Pittsburgh and spent his free time on his motorcycle, art, writing, photography, travel and friends.  He was hoping to complete his first book and run his first marathon soon. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
