Alton Frank Feeser

Alton Frank "Pete" Feeser, 95, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born February 2, 1921 "Groundhog Day" in Hanover, PA to the late John and Lillian I. Walker Feeser and was the widower of Frances Notar Feeser who passed away March 11, 2010 after 72 years of marriage.

Pete served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and went to work for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Aug. 3, 1942 as a class A machinist until retiring Jan. 31, 1983. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union 1688; member and former Commander of the VFW Post 7343 in Mt. Holly Springs; and was also a member of the former Mt. Holly Springs Lutheran Church. Alton enjoyed golfing and traveling to Texas to visit his family.

He is survived by his son, Richard (Nancy) Feeser of Mt. Holly Springs; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Fione Hergenderer of Chicago and Jeanette Tennant of FL.; a daughter in law, Mary of Midland of TX; and a sister in law, Jean of Boiling Springs. Alton was predeceased by a son, Lynn Feeser; two brothers, Charles Feeser and William (sister in law Mary Jane) Feeser; and brother in law, Paul Hergenderer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA  17065 with the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:00 AM until the service. Interment will be in the Westminster Cemetery.
