Albert Taylor Jr.

Albert E Taylor, 82, of Carlisle PA passed away peacefully on April 3, 2014 while a resident of Cumberland Crossings in Carlisle, PA.  Albert was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Millville, NJ.  He graduated in the class of 1950 and served in the Korean War Campaign.  Albert worked for Wheaton Glass as a mold maker for 41 years and retired to PA.

Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He loved working outdoors, visiting old buddies at ship reunions and his family.  He was always ready and willing to help others.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Taylor; his parents, Albert and Blanche Taylor, a brother, Earl J. Taylor;  stepson, LeRoy Veal; step daughter, Cindy L. Dellaquilla and grandson, Lee Veale.

Albert is survived by his son, John E. Taylor and wife Sharon of Clayton NJ; stepson, John W. Sloboda of Bridgeton, NJ; stepdaughters, Louise A. Walker of Millville, NJ and Jane E. Murasky of Florida; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Albert’s life will be held at Rocap Shannon Funeral Home in Millville on Monday, April 14 ^th at 7 pm. Relatives and friends will be received  from 6:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the service.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Written condolences can be sent to rocapshannon@aol.com or visit www.rocapshannon.com .
