Adrienne Peiper

Adrienne D. “Jean” Peiper, 79, of Daytona Beach, FL, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the home of her son in Southhampton Twp., Shippensburg.  Jean was born June 26, 1934 in Carlisle to the late Samuel and Mildred Wolf Kotzmoyer and was the widow of Howard Peiper who passed away in 2004. She worked at the former Howard Johnson and Carlisle Tire & Rubber. Jean was a member of the American Kennel Club, owned and operated her own kennel and raised German Shepherds and Dobermans.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Steven) Keck of Bunnell, FL and two sons, Calvin (Lisa) Roth of Newville and Chuck (Judy) Bitner Jr. of Carlisle. Her brother, Samuel (Shirley) Kotzmoyer of Alexandria, VA; Jean is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Samuel C.  Roth.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 26, at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Chaplin Arlene Dunn officiating.
